This month we are learning about Bugs: Here are some projects and activities we have done to learn about this topic.

Children sorted bugs by colors and also counted the bugs and placed them in in the correct jars.

Another fun activty the children did was sort inscets based on their physical  characteristics

The children created different projects this month with fly swatter.

Addional Resources For Home Learning For Our Sudy:

For a special activty at home students and their families can make a special treat to go with our study. First they put a layer of chocolate pudding into the cup for the “dirt”. Then, they crushed up graham crackers in a plastic ziploc bag and poured the crumbs into the cup for the anthill “sand”. Last, they added chocolate chips for the “ants” (you could also substitute raisins instead of chocolate chips).

before bed parents can read books about bugs to children. Please see our lending libary for stories about bug.

Class Commication:

Each week I will be posting an interactive question regarding our study.  Parents should assist children in adding answer in to interactive board. We will be creating different learning graphs and activites with students answers.

Question of the week:

How many legs does a spider have?
